Originally from New Orleans, Darius and his family relocated to Houston following the devastation from Hurricane Katrina. Growing up the son of a former-marine and a gifted athlete, Darius learned the meaning of hard work, dedication and accountability from a young age. He spent most of his summers traveling and attending sport leadership camps.

After graduation, Darius relocated to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas, San Antonio to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Stemming from his own life experiences, Darius learned his true passion was to re-build communities and changed his major to focus in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration.

His strong work ethic and initiative to excel in the field led Darius to be referred to Trinity where he completed a summer internship in 2017. Working with business owners and tradesmen, Darius could develop firsthand experience in managing a project and gained a new set of tools to solve complex problems. A skill that he takes pride in having and uses each day. His aptitude and ability to successfully manage and complete his first project impressed Trinity and he was offered full time employment as a Project Manager.

When not studying or on the jobsite, Darius is usually found in the kitchen experimenting with new inventive recipes, spending time with his family, or playing sports outdoors.
